My grandparents had an appointment at the bank. They had to cancel when their daughter (my aunt) got sick. That day the bank BLEW UP. The boiler exploded directly below the desk of the man they were scheduled to see, who was killed. This was before my mom was born so if my aunt hadn't been sick that day, I probably wouldn't be here. There's more stories like that in my family history that tell me someone up there really wanted me to be born.

Damn, Jodi's disappearance reminds me a lot of UK TV presenter Jill Dando's murder. What adds to the morbidity of Jill's death is that she worked on Crimewatch, a UK series much like Unsolved Mysteries but one that solely focuses on unsolved crimes. Little could Jill have known that her own murder would be recreated on the very show she presented for.

I wonder if Brandon was shot by whoever owned the field he was cutting through. I know Farmers in the UK have a reputation for brandishing shotguns and yelling "Git ouff mer land!" at 'trespassers'. I've taken like two selfies in my entire life, and neither one of them have been near dangerous wildlife, cliffs, churning water, or in a crowded tourist area where I'd be in everyone else's way.
